On Wednesday, former England and Arsenal striker Rachel Yankey visited the Academy to deliver a skills workshop and a Q&A session, that the female students thoroughly enjoyed and were inspired by. Rachel brought a long with her a number of items including the gold cap she was awarded after winning her 100th international cap. 

On Thursday the Academy's honour students were given the opportunity to visit the iconic Wembley Stadium to watch England vs USA. All 55 students enjoyed the evening and said farwell to former England captain Wayne Rooney in what was his final appearance for his country.
