Apprenticeship training at ATA
At ATA, we are keen to appoint individuals who wish to become a teacher but who have not yet completed the formal training. New graduates and individuals who have experience of working in other sectors are strongly encouraged to apply train with us as an apprentice to become a teacher.
The apprenticeship programme we offer is salaried and combines on the job training with classroom-based learning over the course of an academic year. Course fees are paid by the Academy and at the end of the academic year the apprentice is awarded Qualified Teacher Status.
The Academy have worked with eQualitas for the past three years. eQualitas deliver the formal training programme and assess the candidates, while the Academy runs a weekly in-house training programme and mentoring programme for all apprentices.
